Getting started

  • Do I need an account to browse adventures? — Yes, a free account is required to see adventure details and register.
  • How do I create an account? — Click Login in the top right corner and sign in with your Google or Microsoft account. No separate password needed.
  • Is smyga free? — Browsing and registering for adventures is always free. Creating and hosting adventures requires a Guide or Organisation subscription.

Adventures & registration

  • How do I register for an adventure? — Open the adventure page and click Register. You must have a complete profile first.
  • What is a complete profile? — We need your name, emergency contact and a few basic details before you can register for safety reasons.
  • Can I bring my child? — Yes. After registering yourself, you can add children to your booking from the adventure page.
  • How do I unregister? — Open the same adventure page and click Unregister. Please do this as early as possible to free up the spot for others.
  • What is the check-in QR code for? — On the day of the adventure, the guide activates check-in mode. Scan their QR code or the one on the adventure page to confirm you arrived.

For guides & organisations

  • How do I become a guide? — Upgrade to a Guide subscription from the Subscription page. Your account is upgraded instantly.
  • Can I create a recurring adventure? — Yes. When creating an adventure, toggle the Recurring option and set the frequency.
  • How do I upload a GPX route? — On the adventure creation form, use the Route file upload field. GPX files are rendered as an interactive map.
  • Can I restrict registration to organisation members? — Yes. Set the adventure visibility to Organisation only in the creation form.

Account & data

  • How do I delete my account? — Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. All your data is removed within 30 days.
  • What data do you store about me? — See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
  • Can I export my data? — Yes. Contact support@smyga.se to request a data export.
